The White Album
Of course, everybody knows the famous "The White Album", published by The Beatles back in 1968, which was one inspiration for the three Danish musicians Claus Arvad, Frederik Vedersø and Jakob Eilsø to found a band themselves. There are more important names to drop such as Wilco or Neil Young. However, since their foundation in 2010, The White Album have managed to find their own musical path and sound.
In fact, the three bearded men from Fumen currently live in Kopenhagen, but their earthbound, clear and uncomplicated attitude is still perceivable on the first sight. But as the first impression mirrors not always the complete truth, it is the more surprising which fragility and sensitivity their music contains. The unstrained and very touching voices of all three carry The White Album's stories across the Danish boarders into the hearts of honest Folk lovers all over the world.
Currently, the three are completing their fourth record which will help coping with the problems that only time can solve and warmth the soul. Thus, The White Album live is an intimate, vulnerable and beautiful experience, where the back catalogue is stripped of it’s jewelries and all that’s left is three honest men, with their acoustic guitars and their soft heavenly voices. Scandinavian melancholy and alternative american songwriting textures in one deeply commiting universe.
